Clicking photos next to the King’s Guard horse in the UK is every tourist’s must-do. However, things took a dramatic turn for a tourist who was bitten by a Royal Guard horse while getting her photo clicked outside the Horse Guards Parade in Westminster, central London.
The viral video shows the woman standing near the horse with a guard sitting on it. In the blink of an eye, the horse charges at her and bites her arm. The guard can be seen pulling the reigns. As the video progresses, the woman can be seen holding her arm in pain as onlookers try to help her.
“She learned the hard way not to get too close to the King’s Guard horses,” Daily Mail wrote on Instagram.

With over a million views, the video amassed several reactions with one commenting, “When you think the rules don’t apply to you.” Another user wrote, “She deserved it. People need to learn to read posted signs.”
“Wishing her a Speedy recovery and that now she will remember to respect the rules. She did this to herself,” a third user reacted.
According to several reports, the incident took place outside the Household Cavalry Museum in London. They also talked about a notice outside the building that says: ‘Beware, horses may kick or bite.’
This is not the first time when a Royal Guard horse has attacked a tourist. In May, a similar video emerged on social media showing a woman being kicked by a horse. The viral video showed the woman placing her hand on the horse’s neck when the animal suddenly craned its neck and snapped at her torso.
