A beautiful moment unfolded on the bustling Oxford Street in London when a street performer began singing the soulful classic Yeh Jo Halka Halka Suroor Hai, and singer Jaspinder Narula, who was standing beside him, joined in.

The wholesome duet, captured on video, has gone viral for all the right reasons.

The clip, shared by singer Vish, shows him busking on the streets of London as he stands with Narula. As he starts the iconic track, Narula joins him without missing a beat. “I was just about to start my show at Oxford Street and then this happened. Just amazing to hear her voice each & every time.” Others simply called it “beautiful” and “heartwarming.”

Yeh Jo Halka Halka Suroor Hai is a Sufi classic that has been reimagined by many artists over the years. Jaspinder Narula, too, has lent her unique rendition to this timeless piece.

Known for her powerful, emotive voice, Narula has left a lasting mark on both Hindi and Punjabi music. Her big break came with the hit Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha with Remo Fernandes in 1998, and she’s since given Bollywood numerous memorable tracks in films like Sooryavansham, Mohabbatein, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, and Devdas.

Recently, she was awarded the Padma Shri, one of India’s highest civilian honours. Speaking about the recognition, she told ANI, “I dedicate this award to my parents who were my first guru and I am missing them a lot at this moment.”
