10 Most-Popular Global Leaders in 2024: “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.” — John Quincy Adams

The global political arena today is undergoing significant transformation, increasingly influenced by leaders who are adeptly navigating complex challenges while simultaneously cultivating a heightened awareness among their constituents as they become more engaged and informed, supporting leaders who inspire and align with their values and aspirations.

We live in an era that is characterised by rapid information dissemination and the pervasive influence of social media, making citizens no longer passive recipients of information; they actively seek to engage with their leaders, holding them accountable and demanding authenticity in their actions and communications.

This heightened engagement is evident in the approval ratings of various global addresses, which reflect a growing trend of public involvement in political discourse.

Notably, India’s three-time Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again emerged as the most popular global leader with 69 per cent approval ratings, a recent survey by Morning Consult stated.

Consistently ranking as the most-renowned leader globally, Modi’s popularity reflects a growing awareness among Indian citizens of the importance of strong leadership in navigating both domestic and international challenges. However, it shows a slight dip from the earlier ratings.

On the contrary, indicating declining popularity, French President Emmanuel Macron (20 per cent), US President Joe Biden (39 per cent), and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (29 per cent) are long below the list.
