In an exceptional recognition of India’s rich culinary heritage, six cities in India have been recognised in the Global 100 Best Food Cities with Indian cuisine being once again recognised around the world, ranking 12th on Taste Atlas’ defined list of the 100 Best Cuisines in the World for 2024-25.

Kozhikode’s Paragon Restaurant, famous for its Malabar cuisine—particularly its biryani—has proudly secured the 5th position in the global top 10 restaurants.

Following closely is Kolkata’s Indo-Iranian restaurant, Peter Cat, renowned for its Chelow Kebab, which ranks 7th.
