IPL 2023 KKR vs SRH: Kolkata Knight Riders are coming off a 3-wicket win against the Gujarat Titans, credit to Rinku Singh, who hit five sixes off the final five balls to lead his team over the finish line. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad achieved their first campaign victory in their last match against Punjab Kings, winning by an impressive eight wickets.
Meanwhile, the two-time champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have received a significant boost from their overseas signings; Litton Das of Bangladesh and Jason Roy of England will finally be available for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Friday against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Roy has been signed up for Rs 2.8 crore to replace skipper Shreyas Iyer, who has been ruled out of the entire season.
There have been 23 games between these two teams thus far, with Kolkata Knight Riders winning 15 and Sunrisers Hyderabad taking home 8.
While KKR will hope to trouble the Sunrisers Hyderabad with their spin trio once again, the visitors will be ready for the challenge.

Jason Roy, Litton Das to play
Wicket-keeper batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz sustained a niggle in the last game, but even if he recovers, the Knight Riders could replace him with Jason Roy, who has been added to the lineup to help the top order. If Gurbaz is omitted, N. Jagadeesan may receive the wicket-keeping gloves. Bangladesh opener Litton Das who recently joined the camp, can also be kept in the lineup for KKR in addition to these two.
Heinrich Klaasen to be in action
Aiden Markram’s side would prefer Heinrich Klaasen to wear the wicket-keeping gloves, given his recent outstanding performance in the format. Besides Harry Brook, skipper Markram and Klaasen, Marco Jansen could play as the fourth international option.
