Sachin Tendulkar has always been seen as a humble and down to earth person and even after achieving numerous feats in his 24-year cricket career, the batsman has maintained that image even after retirement.
The incident that proves the fact occurred on Thursday. Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan tweeted a picture of a street wall in Ahmedabad that featured Tendulkar, Lata Mangehskar and him. He tweeted the picture saying: “A street wall in Ahmedabad .. !! That guy in the middle should not be there, among the 2 greats !!”
While Tendulkar was on the right side, Mangeshkar was on the left and Amitabh was drawn in the middle.
To this, Tendulkar gave a humble reply: “There is only one guy who is now referred as ‘former’! Inspirational and timeless @SrBachchan and @mangeshkarlata”
Obviously, he was talking about himself.
