Earlier, West Indies dominated the second session as they sent back Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill and Ajinkya Rahane as both teams headed for Tea. India had dominated the first session with fifties from Rohit and Jaiswal but West Indies put on the brakes in the next one.

Jason Holder wraps up the first session on Day one in Trinidad. Alick Athanaze had a chance to claim Jaiswal at first slip but drops the southpaw in what can be a costly drop.
