A video of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra making dosas while on the campaign trail in Karnataka was being shared widely online on Wednesday.

Sharing the video on Twitter, Priyanka said, “Enjoyed making dosas with the legendary Myalri Hotel owners this morning …. what a shining example of honest, hard work and enterprise. Thank you for your gracious hospitality. The dosas were delicious too … can’t wait to bring my daughter to Mysuru to try them.”

In the video, Priyanka can be seen making a dosa in the hotel’s kitchen. Later on, she was seen eating dosa and talking to other visitors at the place. Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president D K Shivakumar and All India Congress Committee (AICC) Karnataka in-charge Randeep Surjewala were also present at the hotel.

In another video shared by the Congress’s official Twitter account, Priyanka was seen flipping dosas. “Perfect dosas are just the beginning; with such skilful hands, there’s no limit to the power they can bring to the world,” the Congress tweeted.

Sharing pictures on his Twitter account, Shivakumar said, “Started the day with an authentic special Idli breakfast with Smt. @PriyankaGandhi at the iconic 80 years old Mylari Hotel in Mysuru. The food here not just fills your stomach, it fills your heart as well!”

Priyanka was set to campaign in the districts of Mysuru and Chamarajanagar on Wednesday. In her speech in Shringeri later in the day, Priyanka invoked the memories of her grandmother and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, speaking of her connection with Karnataka. “When Indira ji came to Chikmagalur, it was a time of struggle for her. The people of Chikmagalur stood by him in those difficult times. Today is the time of struggle for Rahul ji and our family. We have full faith that the people of the country will stand with us,” she said.
