Popular Tamil actress Gandhimathi died at her Chennai residence on September 9 following prolonged illness.
Known for her fine portrayal of character roles,the 65-year-old actress had acted in several films including blockbusters like Karakattakaran,Manikkam,Walter Vetrivel,Chinna Thambi Periya Thambi,Agal Vilaku and Porter Ponnusami.
