BANGALORE, June 23: The Kannada Shakti Kendra and Karnataka Catholic Christian Kannada Sangha staged a demonstrations protesting against certain remarks by Bishop Joseph Roy, which they alleged was anti-Kannada, and also against the `discrimination’ against Kannada-speaking catholics at Prakashanpalya in Mysore. Speakers at a protest meeting warned of another `Gokak movement’ to revive Kannada language.
