Fire destroys 41 houses in separate incidents in J-K

At least 38 houses were on Thursday gutted in a fire that broke out in a village near the Line of Control in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir.

At least 38 houses were on Thursday gutted in a fire that broke out in a village near the Line of Control in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police said the fire broke out at village Tatri-Kilshay,140 kms from here,but no casualty was reported.

The cause of fire was not immediately known,they added.

In another incident here,three houses were destroyed in a fire that broke out in Shaheed Gunj area on Thursday.

The fire erupted in the house of Mohammad Ishaq Dugg and engulfed some nearby houses,police said.
