BANGALORE, December 26: Prohibitory orders were clamped in Karnataka’s Davangere town today after incidents of stone-pelting during a procession taken out in protest against a newspaper article.
Members of a particular community took out a protest march, shouting slogans against a local daily that carried the article yesterday, which they said hurt their religious feelings, the sources said.
