We all desire to have flawless and radiant skin but the lack of time and proper care leaves our skin dull and dry. Not only this, even the weather plays an important role in the skin’s overall health.

The sweltering summers and the humidity it brings is certainly not good for our skin. The season triggers many skin woes including our worst nightmare–acne.

Dr Nitika Kohli, an Ayurveda expert, shared some easy facial DIYs on her Instagram.

For dry skin

This facial, designed for dry skin, will give a healthy shine to your face.

Make a paste by combining gram flour (besan), turmeric, and rosewater. Apply this pack to your face for 15-20 minutes and then wash off the pack.

Acne-prone skin

Prepare a thick paste with ground neem, multani mitti, sandalwood powder, and lodhra powder, and apply it to the affected areas. Let it dry and then wash the face with lukewarm water.

“Use this mixture every alternate day to get a radiant skin,” wrote Dr Nitika in her post. “A little care will rejuvenate your skin by unclogging the pores and giving back its lost shine and radiance,” she added.
