Jammu and Kashmir government has directed the District Development Commissioners (DDCs) to ensure quick disposal of land compensation cases so that projects under execution could be completed within prescribed time frame.
We have directed the District Development Commissioners (DDCs) to ensure quick disposal of land compensation cases so that projects under execution,especially in Road and Building sector,could be completed within prescribed time frame, Minister for Revenue,Relief and Rehabilitation,Raman Bhalla said while chairing a high level meeting of officers here today.
Bhalla stressed on expeditious assessment of actual amount of acquired land and other details so that the compensation is distributed in time.
Regarding regularisation of Shri Chichi Mata temple land under Roshni Act in Samba district,the meeting was informed that the district administration has sorted out the matter and regularised 27 kanals (3 acres) of state land vesting ownership rights to Chichi Mata Temple trust.
