Ban imposed on sale,purchase of combat dresses in Jammu

The combat dresses,whose production is not regulated by the state,could pass into hands of anti-nationals.

Following intelligence reports about the use of combat dresses by militants in the state,authorities on Friday imposed a two-month ban on unauthorised procurement,storage,sale and stitching of the dresses in Jammu.

District Magistrate,Jammu,M K Dwivedi imposed the ban after inputs from security agencies said the combat dresses,whose production or procurement is not regulated by the state,could pass on into the hands of anti-national elements,a defence spokesman said.
