Bombay HC judge made MP Chief Justice

Justice Sharad Bobde of Bombay High Court is now the Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court.

Justice Sharad Bobde of Bombay High Court is now the Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court. Bobde (56) will be sworn in at Bhopal by the Governor on October 16,sources said. During his stint in the Bombay High Court,Bobde heard several important PILs pertaining to Adarsh housing society,Lavasa Corporation,Maval firing case,among others. Bobde started his legal practice at Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court and was designated as senior advocate in 1998. He was appointed as additional judge of the Bombay High Court in March 2000.
