Former Chhattisgarh CM Ajit Jogi’s son and Marwahi MLA Amit Jogi Wednesday demanded a CBI probe into purported audio tapes which suggested that financial inducements were offered to make the Congress candidate pull out of the 2014 Antagarh bypoll.

Congress has expelled Amit Jogi for six years. Stating that the row was an attempt to “kill his political career”, he said: “Anybody can investigate, the police, the SIT, we even call for a CBI probe. Nobody should fear the truth….”
