Locals in Bhopal on Tuesday came out and protested against poor quality of relief material delivered to them during the ongoing flood situation in the state.
As per ANI reports, mud and stones were found in the ration provided to the flood victims in the city following which they protested outside a ration shop.
Madhya Pradesh has been facing a crisis situation because of incessant rains and floods which has claimed dozens of lives and loss of property till now.
State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan along with other lawmakers was also seen on streets taking note of the situation and assured full assistance to the people. He had also said that the priority was to save lives and the recovery for damages would be done once situation comes under control.
A total of more than 3,00,000 people in the state are affected by floods during this monsoon season.
