Each recipient of the National Teachers’ Award 2025 will be honoured with a certificate of merit, a cash prize of Rs 50,000, and a silver medal. To facilitate the awardees, the Ministry has arranged boarding and lodging at a hotel, The Ashok, located in Diplomatic Enclave, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
Why Teachers’ Day is celebrated on September 5
The accommodation will be provided from the afternoon of September 3 to the forenoon of September 6, 2025. In addition, a briefing meeting for all awardees is scheduled on September 3, 2025, at 5 pm at the hotel.
