For those students who have cleared the examination but want to appear for Class Improvement Scheme, only two attempts will be available in subsequent exams.
For rechecking of answer sheets, students have to first obtain a copy of it after filing an online application, self-attest the same and upload it on the website within five days of receiving the photocopies, after paying fees for the same. Students wishing to do rechecking of answer sheets can contact their respective divisional boards.
For revaluation of marks, students have to make applications between July 30 to August 8 while for obtaining photocopies of answer sheets, students can apply from July 30 to August 18.

In the Maharashtra class 12 results announced earlier this year, not only has the pass percentage improved by 4.78 percentage points but also the number of students scoring over 90% has gone as high as 7,344. It would be worth seeing if the class 10 students are able to achieve a similar feat, because of the re-introduction of oral exams and other measures.

Despite Maharashtra state education board’s claims of tightening security and stringent anti-copying measures, a student allegedly came out of the exam centre with the question paper on his mobile phone and started looking for the answers.
After the pass percentage hit a record low, the Maharashtra Board re-introduced the internal marks. "The SSC students, we reintroduced the oral exams after its removal saw a slide in pass percentage." said Kale.
Last year, the pass percentage or the number of students clearing the exam went as low as 12%. It was considered to be the lowest pass percentage in a declared. In 2019, only 77.10 per cent of students who appeared for the exam could clear it. In 2018, the pass percentage was at 89.41 per cent. Thus, this year, the same is expected to bounce back
The geography exam could not take place due to the rising number of cases of coronavirus. The marks for this exam will be allotted based on internal assessment. Several reports also claimed that the average of the marks obtained in the subjects for which exams were held could also be taken into consideration.
To pass the Maharashtra SSC exam, students need to score an aggregate score of 35 per cent with at least 20 per cent marks in the theory of every subject
