Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar admits students to undergraduate courses through an All-India entrance exam known as Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) which is conducted by all the IITs at various centres across the country.

JEE Advanced 2023 online registration will be conducted between April 30 and May 7 and the entrance exam is set to take place on June 4.

IIT Ropar has 11 departments that offer seven undergraduate programmes — BTech in Chemical Engineering, BTech in Civil Engineering, BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, BTech in Electrical Engineering, BTech in Mathematics and Computing, BTech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
