The three recipients of the 2025 Alumni Service Award are Navin Kumar (PGP 1999), Karan Bhagat (PGP 2001), and Michael Sequeira (PGP 2010).

Navin Kumar, with over three decades of experience in the technology and talent services sector, has remained actively involved with IIMB through teaching and alumni initiatives. He served as Vice President of the IIMB Alumni Association between 2018 and 2019 and was instrumental in launching IIMBueX, the virtual version of the IIMBue leadership conclave during the pandemic years.

Karan Bhagat, Founder and CEO of 360 ONE, one of India’s leading wealth and asset management firms, has been associated with IIMB’s alumni-led platforms, including the IIMBue leadership conclave. He has supported initiatives that strengthen the institute’s engagement with industry and promote leadership development among students and alumni.

Michael Sequeira, currently a Legal Officer with Sanctuary Group in the UK, has played an important role in shaping IIMB’s accessibility and inclusion initiatives. A member of the PGP 2010 batch, he contributed to the establishment of IIMB’s Office of Disability Services (ODS) — the first such office at any Indian Institute of Management. He continues to engage with the institute through mentoring and advocacy for students with disabilities and has helped build Stars of IIM Bangalore, a support network for alumni and students with special needs.
