FMGE 2024: Pass certificates to be distributed from August 20

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) for 35,819 candidates on July 6. The Board will now issue FMGE pass certificates to candidates declared ‘pass’.

These certificates will only be issued in-person at the NBEMS office at PSP Area, Sector-9, Dwarka, New Delhi from August 20 till September 21, as per the schedule prescribed on the entry slip of each individual candidate.

Qualified and eligible candidates are required to be present at specified date and time for collection of their pass certificate. They shall be required to bring the documents in original as prescribed in the information bulletin and also listed in the entry slip. Candidates will be required to bring the print out of the “entry slip” to seek entry at NBEMS office.

All such candidates who are declared qualified in FMGE June 2024 and fail to collect their FMGE pass certificates as per assigned schedule of distribution of pass certificates shall be able to collect the same within 6 months of declaration of result i.e. on/before January 1, 2025, failing which their candidature and result for FMGE June 2024 would be deemed as cancelled and no further opportunity to collect the pass certificate.

This time, the FMGE 2024 was conducted in 71 centres, spread across 50 cities in 21 states. “As a measure towards stringent examination security, NBEMS appointed more than 250 appraisers to supervise the conduct of examination.

Additionally, a command centre was set up at the NBEMS headquarter, Dwarka where members of the governing body, officials of the NBEMS, technical team of 20 TCS officials, senior police officers are monitoring the progress of the examination.

Each and every test centre was being monitored through a live CCTV feed. Ground team of TCS officials were attending to the operational and logistics issues at the test centres, officials said.
