To improve transparency and fairness in the post-result process, CBSE has revised the sequence of activities for students seeking grievance redressal for CBSE Class 10 and 12 examination results. According to the new guidelines released by the board, students will have to now first apply for a photocopy of their evaluated answer book before proceeding to the next steps — verification of marks or re-evaluation. This replaces the previous system, where verification of marks came first, followed by obtaining the photocopy and then re-evaluation.
