Inspired by the bounty of summer produce, The Bombay Canteen has launched its new summer menu. Bursting with seasonal flavours, the line-up includes a variety of gourds, Bengal quince (bael), tomatoes, mangoes, chillies, summer greens and a selection of wild mushrooms, all transformed into light, refreshing and flavour-forward dishes. Expect small plates like summer gourd chokha, ‘ragda pattice’ and smoked beetroot kulcha, to large plates featuring green tomato korma, Himachali bhatt ki dal, and prawn malai curry among others. They are also bringing varieties of mangoes from across India, served chilled over ice or with a scoop of house-made Froyo.

Written after the death of his father, the record is an introspective look on loss, redemption, and the artist’s personal history. Produced by Tejas, Jehangir Jehangir, and Adil Kurwa, the record — for the first time — embraces more of his Indian roots with notable textures and instruments and breaks new ground for his signature English pop music sound.

Indian comedian, screenwriter and novelist Anuvab Pal is known for his show, The Nation Wants to Know. The hour-long set looks at modern India, from the quirks of different Indian communities to the colonial hangover of The British in India, from the oddity of news headlines to the absurdity of everyday Indian behaviour, from the new high-rises that define new India, to the digital India that older people struggle to comprehend, everything is gently laughed at.
