Defending champions ICICI Bank were shown the exit door by Indusind Bank as they posted a win by a one-run margin in an exciting semi-final match of the Super Cup in the ongoing 13th Aditya Birla Financial Services CC7s 2009 at the Western Railway ground,Mahalaxmi over the weekend.

In the final,Indusind Bank will take on Deutsche Bank,who outplayed Intelenet in the other semi-final.

Batting first,Indusind scored 80 for 5 in their 7 overs,with Sagar Ghadigaonkar scoring a masterly 31 retd and Nilesh Walavalkar blasting a quick-fire 25 runs from 9 balls. Chasing a target of 80 runs,Gaurav Pradhan was the lone batsmen from ICICI Bank to take the fight to the opponents,scoring a disciplined unbeaten 32,but some impressive fielding by Indusind Bank resulted in run-outs at crucial junctures.

ICICI Bank needed 4 runs from the last ball with 1 wicket in hand but could manage only 2 runs and were bowled out for 79 in their 7 overs.
