3 held for kidnap,murder of 4-yr-old

Station Officer (SO),Thakurganj police station,Shashi Kant Yadav confirmed the arrest of Santosh,who runs a shop of repairing electrical goods,his nephew Sonu and latter’s friend Ajay.

Police said Santosh knew victim’s father Manoj Gupta,as his shop was located close to their house in Thakurganj.

Santosh told the police that he along with Sonu and Ajay kidnapped Shivam,who was playing outside his house,with an intention to harass Gupta and demand a few thousand rupees,Yadav said. he accused,however,strangled Shivam after he identified Santosh,and threw his body in the river in the night,he added. ens
