AAP spokesperson Ashish Khetan said in on Saturday that emergency-like situation prevailed in the country with the central BJP government covering-up the misdeeds of it own ministers and leaders and harassing the opposition parties and their leader by misusing police and investigative agencies.
He said that while Raje helped Modi to get residential permit in England despite him being wanted by agencies in India and Sushwa Swaraj helped him get travel documents, BJP leaders and PM Modi were not taking any action against them. He also pointed out how Modi paid Rs. 32 crore to a firm owned by Raje’s son Dhushyanth Singh.
Khetan said that while AAP took action against its minister in Delhi government, Jintender Singh Tomar soon after the revelation of the minister possessing a fake degree, BJP was sheltering several ministers with fake degrees like HRD Smriti Irani.
Replying to a question over former AAP minister Somnath Bharti involved in domestic violence with his wife, Khetan sad that it was a family issue and Bharati’s mother and wife had also leveled allegations against each.
Asked if Yogender Yadav’s split form AAP would not harm the party’s prospect, he said that it was an old episode and AAP had moved much forward from it.
He also alleged that the central government was putting obstruction in the path of the AAP government in Delhi. Khetan said that BJP and other parties were afraid that if the success of the AAP government in Delhi reached other stated, BJP and other political groups would be exposed and they would lose political power in other states as well.
