If your pet pooch is the sloppiest kisser or your favourite cat sports enviably long whiskers,then you are going to be busy this weekend. Animal welfare organisation,People for Animals (PFA),is organising a cat and dog show,titled Krazy Kat and Dawg Show,at DLF Place in Saket on April 21 and 22.
The show has 37 categories from the clichéd ones such as best smile,best coat and most obedient to quirky ones such as dog that kisses its owner most in 60 seconds,best biscuit-catcher ,most indistinct whats it made of? and fat cat. The pets get to strut their stuff at 5:30 pm on Day 2 and the winners get to take away nothing less than Swarovski collars and brooches.
The event will keep animal lovers occupied,since besides the fashion show,there will be around 100 stalls urging them to make special purchases for their pets. Other than food,smart clothing,collars and jewellery,wannabe pet owners can bring home guinea pigs,white mice and puppies. The event will also see 10 socialites walk the ramp on Day 2 to raise funds for Sanjay Gandhi Animal Care Centre in Raja Garden.
