Gurgaon: A 21-year-old student died after he fell out of an autorickshaw in Gurgaon on Thursday. According to police,Abhinav Walia,a final-year student of Amity University (Manesar campus) was travelling in an autorickshaw from Sector-52 to HUDA City Centre,when the accident took place. Gaurav Phogat,SHO,Sushant Lok police station,said,The student,a resident of Saket in New Delhi,was seated with the driver and his phone slipped from his hand. He fell out while trying to catch his phone.
Ponty Chadha: Police concludes argument
New Delhi: The Delhi Police concluded its arguments against former Uttarakhand minorities commission chairman Sukhdev Singh Namdhari and 21 other accused in the murders of liquor baron Ponty Chadha and his brother Hardeep during a shootout in their Chhattarpur farm house on December 17 last year.
Repair on DND over weekend
Noida: The Delhi-Noida-Direct (DND) flyway has put in place a traffic diversion plan to aid the road overlay work over the weekend October 19 and October 20 between 2pm and 11pm. The toll operators said three temporary ramps have been erected along a 500 metre stretch. The traffic will be managed so as to avoid undue problems to commuters, said Anwar Abbasi,spokesperson,Noida Toll Bridge Company Ltd. ENS
