Boy who fell in sambar dies

The police said Manoj Gowda was playing around his mother Manjula,a mid-day meal employee at the village school.

A three-year-old boy,who received 75 per cent burns after he fell into a vessel containing hot sambar at Byalahalli village near Malur in Kolar district on September 27,died at Victoria Hospital Monday morning. The police said Manoj Gowda was playing around his mother Manjula,a mid-day meal employee at the village school.

The incident is third such in the state. Earlier,two school students had fallen into hot sambar vessels in Gulbarga and Bangalore Rural.

Last month,a seven-year-old died after she fell into a vessel containing hot sambar at the Darinayakana Palya primary school near Gowribidanur. She was waiting in line for meal and was pushed.
