The third UGC two week-networking summer programme from May 31 to June 12 will be organised at the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences,Panjab University,Chandigarh. The programme will be inaugurated by Prof C K Kokate,Vice-Chancellor,KLE University,Belgaum,Karnataka. Theme of the programme will be Emerging trends in drug discovery and development. The programme has been specially designed for pharmacy teachers across the nation and participants from more than 12 states will come for training. It will be a mix of lectures,workshops,demonstrations and industry visits. UGC has given a grant of Rs five crore to Panjab University to establish a resource networking centre for research and training in pharmaceutical sciences.
