The Department of Sanskrit,Panjab University,celebrated Sanskrit Day at Arts Block 1,in the Panjab University campus on Friday.
Professor Brahmadev Vidyalankar,Gurukul Kangri University,Haridwar,delivered a special lecture on the occasion of Sanskrit Day.
The professor expressed his views on Sanskrit Varan Dhavni. Lalita and Rajesh Kumar,Research Scholars of the department of Sanskrit presented their research papers on this occasion.
Students of the department presented Veda Ucharan and Solaka Ucharan and students from other departments also participated in the programme.
