Punjab: Man enters gurdwara, attacks priests in Ropar

Ropar senior superintendent of police (SSP) Vivek Sheel Sono said that the police have launched an investigation into the incident.

A man entered Gurdwara Kotwali Sahib in Morinda town of Ropar district Monday and attacked granthis (priests). The man was later nabbed by the people present inside the gurdwara.

The CCTV footage of the incident went viral. It can be seen in the footage that the priests were reciting the Gurbani when a man wearing a headgear entered the gurdwara and went up to the sanctum sanctorum and assaulted the priests.
