Hooda conferred doctorate

The Kurukshetra University on Wednesday conferred honorary degrees of Doctor of Laws upon the Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius,Navinchandra Ramgoolam and Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda at the varsity’s 29th convocation.

The Kurukshetra University on Wednesday conferred honorary degrees of Doctor of Laws upon the Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius,Navinchandra Ramgoolam and Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda at the varsity’s 29th convocation. Governor and Chancellor,Jagannath Pahadia conferred the degrees on both the recipients. The degree was awarded to Ramgoolam in recognition of his contribution to the socio-economic,educational and cultural development of Mauritius and to his bond and understanding with India. The Honoris Causa Degree has been conferred upon Bhupinder Singh Hooda in recognition of his dynamic personality,illustrious career,and contribution to the field of social justice,law,education,economy and integrated development of Haryana.
