The Punjab CM today said that state Congress leaders were misleading people by making false claims regarding the inauguration of the Khalsa Heritage Complex at Sri Anandpur Sahib,whereas in reality this project is yet to be completed. Badal said that Congress is resorting to cheap tactics of creating a sham over the issue of inauguration of this complex. Training guns against former Punjab Chief Minister and state Congress Chief Captain Amarinder Singh,the CM said that it was very unfortunate that he was giving misleading statements over the issue by claiming that he had inaugurated it way back in 2006. How can he inaugurate the project in 2006,when it was not completed at that time questioned Badal. He said that it was very unfortunate that instead of welcoming the Prime Minister to the state the Congress leadership of Punjab was creating hindrances in his proposed visit. Slamming the Congress leaders for opposing the state government for organising the Kabaddi World Cup,the CM said that the sole aim of organising the mega event was to promote the sport which was the mother game of Punjabis.
