Vadodara’s Smriti Singh helped Gujarat secure a bronze medal in the 4×50m Medley Relay at the 41st Sub-Junior National Aquatic Championship held earlier this month.

The championship, held on August 4-5 at the Basavanagudi Aquatic Complex in Bengaluru, saw participation by 22 states. Smriti, 12, trains at the Sama Indoor Sports Complex, Vadodara, under the guidance of coaches Vivek Singh Borliya and Krishna Pandya. The relay team clocked an impressive 2:20.14, marking a proud moment for Gujarat in the national arena.
