Swine flu: German national tests negative

A day after the third suspected case of the H1N1 virus was reported in Ahmedabad,sources at the VS (Sheth Vadilal Sarabhai General) Hospital said the blood and swab samples reports of the person have been found negative.

A day after the third suspected case of the H1N1 virus was reported in Ahmedabad,sources at the VS (Sheth Vadilal Sarabhai General) Hospital said the blood and swab samples reports of the person have been found negative. A German National,who had arrived in the city on Wednesday,was declared negative for the H1N virus after confirmation from the National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD). The doctors attending him said he was was kept in an isolation ward and has now been discharged from the hospital. So far,all the three suspected cases in the state have been tested negative.
