Mahindra & Mahindra leads recruiters in 2nd cluster of summer placements at IIM-A

A rise in participation was noted, with several firms visiting for Summer Placement for the first time – including Dainik Bhaskar (Advertising and Media), Haleon (Consumer Goods), Jiostar (Advertising and Media), Jupiter Money (Financial Platform and Services), Medtronic India Pvt Ltd (Pharmaceuticals and Health Care) and Philip Morris International (Consumer Goods).

The firms that participated in the second cluster comprising seven cohorts – ‘Advertising and Media, ‘Conglomerates’, ‘Consumer Goods’, ‘Consumer Services’, ‘Financial Platform and Services’, ‘Pharmaceuticals and Health Care’ and ‘Retail B2B and Retail E-commerce’ was conducted in hybrid mode with companies joining in through online as well as offline mode.

Other prominent recruiters in the cohort were Abhinandan Ventures, CK Birla Group, JSW and Vedanta Limited. Procter and Gamble led hires in the Consumer Goods cohort followed by ITC Ltd, the statement said.

Others in the cohort were AB InBev, Asian Paints, Coca Cola Company, Dabur, Diageo India, Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Nestle, Purplle, United Breweries Ltd, Wipro Consumer Care and Zydus Wellness among others. FinIQ Consulting was the top recruiter in the Financial Platform and Services cohort.

While JioStar led the list of recruiters with most hires in the Advertising and Media cohort, Amazon followed by Flipkart were top recruiters in the Retail B2B and Retail E-commerce cohort among others.

The Pharmaceuticals and Health Care cohort witnessed active participation from Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Bharat Serums and Vaccines Ltd, Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Optum, said the statement.
