The Gujarat High Court will soon implement hearing of counsels in hybrid mode, enabling them to join virtually, on a pilot basis.
The Registrar General of the High Court Tuesday issued the standard operating procedure (SoP) for implementation of hybrid hearing, which can initially be opted for by counsels on Thursdays at the division benches, presided by Acting Chief Justice AJ Desai, and Justice Vipul Pancholi.

The advocates will have to provide the names of the counsels who will be arguing the cases. Thereafter, a meeting link will be sent via email and over their mobile phones. Counsels should join the meeting With exact names as was provided at the time of registration.
Counsels can opt for hybrid hearing only after publication of Thursday’s causelist, latest by 10 am.
