20 hurt in Vadodara bus accident

Twenty passengers were injured when a luxury bus rammed into a stationary truck at Vejalpur in Panchmahals Kalol taluka in Vadodara on Monday.

Twenty passengers were injured when a luxury bus rammed into a stationary truck at Vejalpur in Panchmahals Kalol taluka in Vadodara on Monday. The bus was coming from Ujjain and was on its way to Chotila.

Of the 20,nine were seriously injured and were shifted to the SSG Hospital in Vadodara for treatment.

The truck was parked on the side of the road on the Godhra-Vadodara highway and the driver and his helper were repairing it.

The bus driver could not see the truck and rammed directly into it. The injured were immediately rushed to Godhra civil hospital. No fatality was reported.
