The acclaimed first season (2014), starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, followed Louisiana State Police detectives investigating a 17-year-old occult-linked serial killer case. The second season (2015), set in California and featuring Colin Farrell and Rachel McAdams, centered on three detectives investigating crimes linked to a murdered politician.
