Prabhu Deva is a leading Indian dance choreographer, actor, producer and director. He is the son of Mugur Sundar, a well-known choreographer for South Indian movies. Following in his father's footsteps, he also became a choreographer with 1989 film Vetri Vizha. And over the years, he has choreographed songs for almost all the leading film stars in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. He has received several awards, including two National Awards for Best Choreography for his work in 1997 film Minsara Kanavu and 2005 film Lakshya. He made his acting debut in 1994 film Indhu and has acted in several super hit films ever since. After a successful acting stint, he made his directional debut in 2005 with Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. And later he went on to helm some of the most commercially successful movies like Pokkiri, Shankardada Zindabad, Wanted, Rowdy Rathore and among others.
