Nithya Menen: A Versatile South Indian Star's Ascent Nithya Menen, born NS Nithya on April 8, 1990, is a prominent Indian actress and singer, predominantly known for her work in Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil films. With over 58 films to her credit, Menen is celebrated for her powerful portrayals and has garnered significant accolades, including a National Film Award, four Filmfare Awards South, two South Indian International Movie Awards, and two Nandi Awards. Her career began with a child role in Hanuman (1998) and her debut film, 7 O' Clock (2006). A breakthrough role in Ala Modalaindi (2011) won her the Nandi Award for Best Actress. Subsequent successes in Telugu cinema included Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde (2013) and Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju (2015), both earning her Filmfare Awards.
