Discussing The IPL Water Controversy

Asserting that there was no question of supplying potable water to nurture the cricket pitches for the Indian Premier League matches in Maharashtra when the state was facing a drought, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday said, “If they decide to host the matches outside Maharashtra, we have no problems.” “My government is firm that it would not provide potable water for cricket matches.
