The opening ceremony of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 will witness a host of Bollywood and international stars performing, including Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandes, Katrina Kaif and Yo Yo Honey Singh along with American singer Chris Brown and musical group Major Lazer. Ranveer Singh is visibly excited about performing at the opening ceremony of this year’s IPL on April 8 in Mumbai. The actor, who is known to his high energy performances, revealed that a special imported technology would be used for his act. “We will be using an imported technology for the act. It is a special interactive graphic technology. We will design the whole act around it. It will also infuse in itself a cricketing flavour,” revealed Ranveer Singh.

Dwayne Bravo and his 'Champions' song is expected to feature in the opening ceremony. IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla revealed on Wednesday that Bravo would perform and he would be joined by few others West Indies cricketers.
American singer Chris Brown, best known for his hit tracks 'Loyal' and 'With You', will also perform.
