The collection exuded oriental royalty and was a treat to the eyes. The designs, prints, colour schemes, fabric and the silhouettes were in complete balance to appeal to different sensibilities.
Lulla’s collection encompassed the essence of the alluring cherry blossoms, Osmanthus, flowy silhouettes, bead sequins and royal embroidery on pastel hues. The theme was all about romance, feminine sensuality, tenderness and the inner strength of today’s women.
Increasingly, destination weddings and theme parties are becoming part of our social culture and, hence, the beachwear or resort wear category also has seen a fillip in recent times.
The three-day IBFW will also include a 'Made in Goa' showcase, which is designed to create a global platform to Goa-based designers, artists, textiles, handicraft to showcase their talent to a global audience, while serving as an opportunity for young designers to display their work before buyers, top celebrities, etc.
IBFW offers designers a platform to showcase talent and lead the conversation around resort fashion in the country.
The artistic location, Museum of Goa added to the beauty of the entire event. The designer’s collection was inspired by the Chinese flowers and was very feminine, comfortable as well as classy.
India Beach Fashion Week will continue for the next two days at The JW Marriott, Goa wherein top designers like Varun Bahl, Falguni and Shane Peacock will be showcasing their resort wear collection. Also, many new designers from across the country will be showcasing their creativity with their innovative collections at the event.
