After Punjab, the Congress is scheduled to hold tractor rallies in Kurukshetra and Karnal on October 6 and 7.
Rahul Gandhi kick-started the ruling Congress’ three-day Kisan Bachao rally from Badhani Kalani in Moga on Sunday. He later led the party’s tractor rally from Moga to Ludhiana. He said with the new farm laws, the Modi government was trying to destroy the three pillars of agriculture – minimum support price (MSP), assured foodgrain procurement and mandis.
