The 296-km-long Bundelkhand Expressway passes through seven districts -- Chitrakoot, Banda, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Auraiya and Etawah. (PTI)
The four-lane expressway, which can be later expanded into six lanes, has been constructed at a cost of around Rs 14,850 crore. (PTI)
Besides improving connectivity in the region, the government also expects the Expressway to give an economic boost and create job opportunities for local people. (PTI)
This is the fourth expressway project in Uttar Pradesh and was completed in 28 months, according to government. (PTI)
