Ocean's franchise' all-female spinoff Ocean's 8 gets poster: Ocean's 8, sequel and spinoff to Ocean's trilogy, has got a poster. The film has an all-female cast with names like Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson and Awkwafina. Damian Lewis and James Corden also star in the film. While it is being directed by Gary Ross, George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh turns producers for Ocean's 8.

Disney's Fox acquisition has Indian ramifications: With the 52 billion takeover of 21st Century Fox's assets, Disney will have a larger role to play in the Indian film industry, where it has invested in the past through UTV. The company could also plan to return to the local language market. At present, Disney has been promoting Hollywood movies in India. Disney practically now owns all Star channels and Hotstar.
Mark Hamill reveals his affair with Carrie Fisher: In a recent interview to The Guardian, 66-year-old Star Wars actor Mark Hamill reflected on his time spent with Carrie Fisher before her untimely death nearly a year ago. Deadpool will stay R-Rated after Disney's Fox acquisition: You cannot imagine Deadpool being a nice guy. He will always be the Merc With a Mouth and thankfully Disney does not want to change the anti-hero. Disney CEO Bob Iger while addressing the media said, "It [Deadpool] clearly has been and will be Marvel branded. But we think there may be an opportunity for a Marvel-R brand for something like Deadpool. As long as we let the audiences know what's coming, we think we can manage that fine."
